BT-11x Membrane Conductivity Hardware:
Use the BekkTech Conductivity Cell or Clamp to obtain in-plane ionic conductivity data on your bare membrane sample.
BT-110 Conductivity Clamp:
The BT-110 Conductivity Clamp is used to obtain in-plane resistance and ionic conductivity of bare ionomer membrane samples. The Conductivity Clamp is designed to be used in a humidity chamber or in a beaker.
The advantage of the 4-electrode measurement is the ability to measure resistance due only to charge transport while excluding interfacial and charge transfer resistances. By measuring only the resistance due to ion transport, accurate assessment of in-plane membrane conductivity can be made.
Valuable time and money can be saved by analyzing ion charge transport resistance prior to catalyzation of the membrane and assembly of the MEA into a fuel cell.
BT-112 Conductivity Cell:
Assemble your bare membrane sample into the Conductivity Cell. The Conductivity Cell is then assembled into your Scribner Associates or Fuel Cell Technologies, Inc. fuel cell hardware.
Connect the fuel cell hardware to your test stand to control the temperature, humidity, gas type, and pressure of the membrane sample under test.

Assemble your bare membrane sample into the Conductivity Cell. The Conductivity Cell is then assembled into your ElectroChem, Inc. fuel cell hardware. Connect the fuel cell hardware to your test stand to control the temperature, humidity, gas type, and pressure of the membrane sample under test.

• Recommended membrane sample size: 25mm x 10mm
• Designed for use in an environmental chamber or non-conductive liquid
• Temperatures up to 150 °C, High temperature option to 250 ºC
BT-112 & BT-115 Conductivity Cell:
• Designed to be used with your existing test stand hardware
• Compatible cell fixtures: BT-112 (Scribner & Fuel Cell Technologies); BT-115 (Electrochem, Inc.)
• High temperature option to 250 ºC
Features of the BekkTech In-Plane Conductivity Cell:
• Tests pure membrane samples. Fabrication of a catalyzed sample (CMM or MEA) is not required.

• Use with Electrochem 5, 10, and 25 cm2 fuel cell test hardware
